Lorent Tolaj is confident he can deal with the pressure of wearing the number nine shirt for Plymouth Argyle after his £1.2 million transfer from Port Vale.

The Swiss striker joined the Pilgrims on a four-year contract last Friday and went straight into the starting line-up for the 1-0 League One victory over Blackpool at Home Park the following afternoon. He then played as a second half substitute away to Swansea City in the Carabao Cup second round on Tuesday night.

Argyle drew 1-1 with their Championship hosts over the 90 minutes but then lost 5-3 on penalties, with Tolaj scoring one of their successful spot kicks.
