Two prominent Boston personal injury law firms have filed competing suits against one another, lobbing allegations of trade secret theft and false advertising, records show.
On Aug. 13, Sokolove Law Firm filed suit in Suffolk Superior Court against Jason Stone Injury Lawyers and Keith Glover, a former Sokolove employee who now works for the Stone group.
“This case is about the wholesale theft of a business model,” the civil suit read. “Defendant Jason Stone Injury Lawyers P.C. and its principal, Jason Stone, built their recent success not on innovation or hard work, but on trade secrets and proprietary information stolen from their direct competitor, Sokolove Law LLC.”
