NORFOLK, Neb. (KCAU) — One man has been arrested after a shooting in Norfolk, the local police reported.

Early Friday morning, the Norfolk Police Division (NPD) were alerted to possible gunfire around 1:52 a.m.

Officers arrived in the area of the 800 block of S. 14th Place, and a resident told them he had noticed people standing near his vehicle in the street through security footage. He reportedly said he had opened his window, shouted at the people to leave, and fired a single shot from a firearm. This resident was identified as Adrian Gallegos, 22, of Norfolk.
