Expect a different look to the Hudson’s Bay football team this season.

In recent years, the Eagles have stacked ballcarriers in the backfield to run behind their stout linemen.

This season, much of Hudson’s Bay’s talent is concentrated in the skill positions. So the Eagles are likely to pass the ball and run more schemes to get ballcarriers into space.

“We’ve got depth at the skill positions this year,” Eagles coach Mark Oliverio said. “I’ll go as far as say it won’t be traditional heavy Bay package.”

Hudson’s Bay returns both its leading rusher and receiver from last year. Xavier Lions , a junior who led the Eagles in rushing, will move to quarterback to start the season.
