EASLEY, S.C. (WSPA) -- A shooting incident Thursday in the parking lot of an Easley Walmart appears to be accidental, according to police.
The Easley Police Department responded to the Walmart on Rolling Hills Circle, where officers believe a reported shooting was an accidental discharge of a firearm.
The agency reported the individual involved in the shooting was treated and released from a nearby hospital overnight.
As the investigation continues, authorities are working to understand the circumstances that led to the discharge.
