With just over six weeks to go before Edmonton votes in the municipal election, a new poll suggests Edmontonians feel the city is on the wrong track.
In the online survey from Leger, conducted Aug. 22-25 among 401 Edmonton residents, 58 per cent of people surveyed feel the city is on the right track, with 33 per cent feeling Edmonton is headed in the right direction.

Those over 55 are more likely to believe the city is headed in the wrong direction, at 74 per cent, while 47 per cent of those 18-34 feel the city is on the right track.
Crowded mayor’s race
When it comes to what is already a crowded field for mayor, there isn’t a front-runner, but Coun. Andrew Knack has a slim lead over his competitors with 12 per cent saying they intend to vote for him, followed by 10
