JANE LEW, W.Va. (WV News) — Jane Lew's annual festival has returned for a milestone year.
The 45th Jane Lew Fireman's Festival had a successful first day on Friday as residents arrived to talk to firefighters and visit local crafters.
Even before the festival officially began at 9 a.m., people were already browsing the Fire Department and Jane Lew Park for unique gifts and items.
Clara Wimmer, owner of Melken Mutter Farm, has participated in the festival for nine years and always enjoys being a vendor and reconnecting with old friends.
"I like seeing the same people every year," she said. "I've been able to build a lot of great relationships over the years with my customers. Since I've been able to get to know everyone over the years, it's gotten even more enjoyable. It's the same thin
