A top bar fave is set to host a whisky weekender as part of Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight this September.

Multi-award-winning bar The Gate, in the Gallowgate, is to throw a "proper party" with two days of "drams, tunes and good times" as part of the city's top cocktail celebration.

Taking to social media, the team posted: "Welcome to the worlds smallest whisky festival, with... Live music and DJs all weekend, exclusive tastings you won’t get anywhere else, whisky Brunch sessions with drams with Sebb's and Monster Munchies and headliners from the likes of Ardbeg, Glenmorangie, Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and pals.
