ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A police K9 is in the hospital after a violent incident Thursday night, according to Rock Hill Police.
Just after 10 p.m. on August 28, officers were called to a home on Martin Avenue in a neighborhood off Saluda Street in the southern part of Rock Hill. A 56-year-old female called police, saying that 35-year-old Travonte Tate was trying to stab her.
The woman said Tate chased her into her bedroom with a knife, threatening to kill her over his belongings that were stored in the home. Two other people at the home pulled Tate away from the victim, giving her the call to call police.
