It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Sewell Turner. She was a devoted sister, mother, and grandmother who always put family first. She was born on September 11, 1947 to Jodi and Jean Sewell. She is survived by her brother Harry Sewell (Cheryl and son, Ben and family), her daughters, Crissy Moore (Don) and Jeannie Evans (Darren), her son, Will (Julia), and her grandchildren, Darren Mitchell, Caroline, and Patrick. Carolyn was known for her unwavering compassion for others. She had a passion for history and a life long dedication to teaching.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn was a force to be reckoned with, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
