SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A man was arrested Friday morning after allegedly firing a gun out of his bedroom window, injuring one person.

According to a release from the Norfolk Police Division, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of South 14th Place for a report of a disturbance and possible gunfire.

The release states that 22-year-old Adrian Gallegos told officers he was woken up by an alert from his security camera on his phone. When he looked at the footage, he saw people standing in the street near where his truck was parked.

According to his statement, Gallegos opened a bedroom window, shouted at them to leave the area, then fired a single round from a firearm.
