Creating spaces where people feel seen, connected, and less alone – that's the aim of Together South Surrey White Rock Society (Together-SSWR), a volunteer-driven, grassroots non-profit dedicated to promoting mental wellness and strengthening community resilience.

Starting this month, the society's Community Café program is expanding with a fourth location – the Roadhouse Grille atrium, 1781 King George Blvd., with regular Wednesday afternoon meetings beginning Sept. 3.

The new option is part of the society's plan to make the program as accessible as possible, according to a media release from Together-SSWR.

To this end it joins already-established Community Cafés Monday mornings at Laura’s Coffee Corner, Thursday evenings at the White Rock Community C
