KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A 19-year-old in Knox County is in custody after allegedly threatening to shoot his juvenile ex-girlfriend.

According to Knox County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) Chief Deputy John Fuller, 19-year-old Gaige Michael Lewis followed his ex-girlfriend, a 17-year-old juvenile, home from school and "barged into her home with a firearm in his hand, threatening to shoot her."

Friends of the juvenile also had video footage of Lewis entering the home with a gun in his hand, said Fuller.

Lewis was taken into custody and charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon (a level 5 felony), burglary while armed with a deadly weapon (a level 2 felony), and driving while suspended with a previous conviction (a class A misdemeanor).
