KINGSTON, N.Y. — The city announced Thursday, Aug. 28, that it will pave four streets in September.
Streets to be paved include Dubois Street from Newkirk Avenue to Maple Street, Hasbrouck Avenue from Newkirk Avenue to the end, Maple Street from Dubois Street to Murray Street and Newkirk Avenue from Maple Street to Hasbrouck Avenue, Mayor Steve Noble’s office said.
Preparation in these areas has already begun, with milling expected to begin on Monday, Sept. 22, and paving expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 26, weather depending, Noble’s office said.
Noble’s office said that all vehicles must remain off the street during the milling and paving process. Once the paving process begins, access and egress will be denied until the blacktop cools enough for normal vehicular traffic, usu
