The Trump administration officially withdrew $47 million in funding on Friday for a crucial project vital to advancing Maryland’s controversial offshore wind industry along Ocean City’s coastline.

The federal funding was allocated under former President Joe Biden’s administration to advance the Sparrows Point Steel Marshalling Port Project at Tradepoint Atlantic in Edgemere, Md.
