Getting off to a good start in the 2024 football season wasn't a struggle for the MVAOCOU Rams.

The Class 1A District 1 team won its first three games by an average of nearly 19 points (34-18 vs. Westwood, 49-13 over Missouri Valley, and 20-16 against Manson-NW Webster). In the Missouri Valley contest, senior Luther Cameron managed to rush for 192 yards on 22 attempts and found the end zone a total of four times.

And finishing respectably didn't really trouble the squad from Mapleton either. In the final three weeks, the Rams beat the Lawton-Bronson Eagles 27-21 and shut out the Red Oak Tigers. (They did drop a game against the Ridge View Raptors 36-13.)
