MINNEAPOLIS — Seven of the 18 injured in a mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis on Wednesday, Aug. 27, remain hospitalized as of Friday morning.

Two children — Fletcher Merkel, 8, and Harper Moyski, 10 — were killed.

The shooting happened as children and staff of Annunciation school attended their Wednesday morning Mass marking the first week of school.

Of the 18 injured, 15 are children. Initially, all 18 were hospitalized, and at least six were initially reported to be in critical condition — a number which has now shrunk to at least one.
