Two people are in custody after a narcotics search warrant was executed in Jefferson City on Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the Cole County Sheriff's Office.

The MUSTANG Drug Task Force, assisted by the Jefferson City Police Department SWAT team, executed the search warrant in the 800 block of East Elm Street just after noon.

According to the news release, authorities found and seized approximately 88 grams of methamphetamine, several controlled prescription pills, a digital scale and a firearm.

Aaron Mosley, 33, and Christopher Knox, 38, were detained and taken to the Cole County Jail, according to the Cole County Sheriff’s Office.
