An Upstate New York man has pleaded guilty after threatening to kill President Joe Biden.
Troy Kelly, 20, of Crown Point in Essex County, plead guilty Thursday to one count of a three-count indictment charging threats against the President of the United States, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of New York.
Kelly admitted that in May 2024 he responded to a social media post of Biden, telling the then-president that he was “Gonna put a bullet in your head if I ever catch you.” He also admitted that he intended the message to be understood as a threat.
