EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — In this WPRI 12+ exclusive, "Remembering Judge Caprio: Reflections from David Begnaud," the CBS News journalist joins 12 News anchor Mike Montecalvo for an in-depth conversation.

Caprio, who served as chief judge for the municipal court of Providence, died at the age of 88 after battling pancreatic cancer. His compassion in the courtroom was televised on the reality TV show "Caught in Providence," earning him the nickname, "America's nicest judge."

Begnaud previously interviewed Caprio and spent time with his family.
