As a crane lowered a structure in Plainview Thursday, people may have recognized the shape as that of a drive-thru coffee chain that has boomed over the past few years.

On Friday, 7 Brew confirmed a location would be opening in Plainview at 3209 Olton Road . The drive-thru drink stop is known for having 20,000 drink combinations, including a caramel and vanilla breve known as the Blondie, 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas, all customizable. This location will join more than 450 across the company's reach, including three in Lubbock.

With the new space, 7 Brew expects to add 50 jobs to the area, which can be applied to at 7crew.7brewcareers.com . A company news release stated the location is expected to open within the next few months.
