SCRANTON — The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Scranton announced Justis Shea, 32, of Glen Lyon, was sentenced to 130 months’ imprisonment and three years probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon. U.S. District Judge Julia K. Munley sentenced Shea.
According to a news release from acting U.S. Attorney John Gurganus, Shea pled guilty to trafficking a quantity of fentanyl and a synthetic cannabinoid, commonly referred to as K2, in a Luzerne County hotel room in June 2024. As part of the plea agreement, Shea also admitted to possessing a stolen Smith & Wesson 15 cal rifle, which had previously been shipped across state lines, knowing he had previously been convicted of a felony.
