PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) -- Five people were arrested in connection with reported copper theft in Mercer County.

According to a press release, five people were arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Conspiracy, and Destruction of Property after more than $10,000 worth of copper fittings were stolen from a construction site on Spring Haven Drive in the Princeton area of Mercer County.

The Princeton Police Department stated that the people who were arrested and charged include: • 43-year-old Phillip Sawyer, of Princeton • 32-year-old Hali Sweeney, of Princeton (left) • 37-year-old Brandon Kessler, of Princeton (right) • 35-year-old Jeffery Robinette, of Princeton • 38-year-old Joshua Miller, of Princeton
