Authorities say Capozzi drove to Weeks’ property on August 19, 2024, to speak with him. Weeks was dating Capozzi’s ex-partner.
As Weeks walked down the driveway to speak to him, Capozzi shot him. He then left the scene.
Deputies tracked Capozzi down to the McDonald’s restaurant in Williston and arrested him. They say he made a full confession to detectives.
