When Minnesota United kick off their match against the Portland Timbers Saturday evening, there will be no noise coming from the Loons' loudest supporters.

The Wonderwall, the collection of MNUFC supporters groups, have announced that they will be silent for the first two minutes of Saturday's match "in memory of the two lives tragically lost at the Annunciation shooting."

"Senseless does not begin to describe the tragedy that occurred this week at Annunciation School," reads the Wonderwall's statement. "We grieve with the families affected directly by the shooting, as well as the broader community recovering from this reprehensible act of gun violence. Children shouldn't have to fear for their lives when they go to school."
