The president of the Brant Camera Club wants to increase the group’s exposure.

The venerable club with a history dating back almost 70 years will kick off its new season next month with a focus on helping local photographers improve their skills, no matter what their experience.

“There are so many years of photography knowledge in the club,” said Kevin Miller, who is leading the group for the second year. “I guarantee that no matter your skill level, you will leave knowing more about your camera when the season is finished than when it started.”

Himself a club member for three years, Miller, whose specialty is car racing and bird photography, said his skills have improved “a thousand percent” since he joined.
