DENVER (KDVR) — The Colorado Medical Board has issued a cease-and-desist order to a man posing as a plastic surgeon without a license and an aesthetic care center for unlicensed medicine practice.

The order was sent to Carlos Hernandez-Fernandez and Bare Beauty Aesthetic Care, a business located in Lakewood. The Colorado Medical Board in a press release said Hernandez-Fernandez "is not, and has never been, licensed to practice medicine in the state of Colorado."

The cease-and-desist order was effective Thursday.

The medical board said Hernandez-Fernandez was licensed as a surgical assistant until it was revoked in September 2016.

The medical board also asked anyone who may have received services from Hernandez-Fernandez to file a complaint with the Colorado Medical Board online and/or
