DENVER (KDVR) — It's been a wet week, but the Denver weather forecast will begin to dry out starting Sunday.
That said, some spotty showers and thunderstorms are expected again Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures will be pleasantly warm this weekend, with highs only in the mid-70s on Saturday before rebounding to near 80 degrees on Sunday. Denver's average high for the closing days of August is 85 degrees.

Expect partly cloudy skies overnight with mostly dry conditions, but some areas of light showers will be possible, especially over the eastern plains. Temperatures will be seasonally cool with lows in the mid-50s. The high country will be especially cool with lows falling into the upper 30s and low 40s in some of the valleys.
