ALIQUIPPA, Pa. —
A volunteer coach on the bus that crashed while heading to a football game in Western Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against the driver.

Twenty-one people were taken to the hospital after a school bus carrying Aliquippa Jr. High football players, parents and staff crashed in Economy Borough, Beaver County , on Aug. 23.
According to the lawsuit, the driver, who was not identified, was traveling over the speed limit ‘and/or entirely too fast’ down a hill on Shaffer Road prior to the crash.
The suit claims the driver could not navigate a bend due to his speed, which caused the bus to fishtail, turn on its side and hit a pole.
