MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI - There is still time to squeeze in one last vacation as the camping season comes to a close this year.
On the shores of Lake Michigan, Muskegon County offers three campgrounds for people to recreate during the summer season.
Campers in Muskegon County can choose to explore the beaches and dunes of Pioneer or Meinert parks or get a more close-knit experience at the smaller campground, Blue Lake Park.
At any of the parks, each campsite comes with water and electric hookup, a picnic table and firepit. Each campground has a sanitary dump station. There are firewood and ice for purchase at each campground office.
While fees remain the same for this season, a $7 increase for all park daily fees was approved by the Muskegon County Commission this month and will take eff
