Syracuse, N.Y. ― Jimmy Boeheim will continue his pro career after signing with a pro team in Portugal.

Boeheim, who played collegiately at Cornell for three years and Syracuse for one, has signed to spend the 2025-26 season with Oliveirense, a team based in Oliveira de Azemeis.

Oliveirense, which plays in the Portugese LPB league, made the announcement on the team’s Instagram account.

This will be Boeheim’s third pro season in Europe. The 6-foot-8 forward has previously played for teams in Greece, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Oliveira de Azemis is located just off the Atlantic Coast and the coastal city of Porto, not far from Portugal’s Northern border with Spain.
