FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Fresno's first dedicated cricket pitches have been completed after 6 months of construction.
The city announced Friday that it will be celebrating its newest additions to the Jaswant Singh Khalra Neighborhood Park and the Regional Sports Complex with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The cricket pitches at Jaswant Singh Khalra Neighborhood Park will be for public recreation, and the one Regional Sports Complex will be for tournaments.
The total cost of the project is estimated to be $250,000.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be on Sept. 4 at the Regional Sports Complex located at 1707 W Jensen Ave., Fresno. It will be at 10 a.m.
