CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (Aug. 29, 2025) – The Chillicothe Police Department handled a busy slate of calls on Thursday, August 28, with officers responding to reports ranging from burglary and theft to domestic violence and warrants.

The day began around 4:49 a.m. when officers were dispatched to Columbus Avenue on a possible domestic dispute involving disorderly conduct. Later in the morning, police investigated two separate burglary reports — one on Adams Avenue and another on Ervin Avenue — both of which remain under investigation.

Other notable incidents included:

Thefts and Fraud: Multiple theft complaints were reported throughout the city, including on West Main Street, North Bridge Street, and Medical Drive. Officers also investigated a fraud case on North Bridge Street.
