ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A Jefferson County man pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to charges related to his sexual abuse of two girls.

Benjamin F. Sexton Jr., 48, pleaded guilty to charges of production of child pornography, coercion and enticement of a minor and receipt of child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say Sexton sexually abused one victim between the ages of 7 and 14 and recorded some of the abuse. Sexton also solicited sexual images from the girl and gave her methamphetamine. The investigation into Sexton began after the girl’s grandfather found explicit communications between his granddaughter and Sexton.
