Phil and Danea, with Burger Patch, announced on Friday that the Sacramento vegan business "couldn't make the numbers" work on Friday.

"Together, with you, we've helped put plant-based food on the world's stage -- sponsoring the World's Strongest Man competition, serving rock stars and fans at Bottlerock, and sparing the lives of over 100,000 animals along the way," Phil and Danea said.

The two said their hearts are of full of gratitude despite the difficult decision to close their business.
