BAY CITY, MI — A Bay City woman accused of trying to drive her vehicle over an expectant mother at a baseball field has pleaded guilty to some charges. She has the chance, though, to avoid a criminal record.

After missing two prior scheduled court hearings, Danielle J. Skrzypczak on Aug. 13 appeared before Bay County Circuit Judge Joseph K. Sheeran and pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon, fourth-degree child abuse, and driving while license suspended. The first charge is a four-year felony, while the latter two are misdemeanors.
