BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Bloomington man was arrested on Thursday for alleged possession of child pornography.
Aaron Ringo, 35, was arrested for 44 counts, including allegedly possessing photos and videos with victims under the age of 13. He was denied pre-trial release and will remain in custody at the McLean County Detention Facility.
The investigation began when the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reported what they believed to be the uploading of child sex abuse materials.
Bloomington police executed several warrants related to the case and allegedly located sex abuse materials and computer-generated child pornography.
