Eagles general manager Howie Roseman should call Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones every day to thank him for his mistake.

Jones inexplicably traded superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers Thursday for two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark . It comes at a bad time of the year too. The trade could make his players distracted and dejected going into their Week 1 matchup against the Eagles next Thursday — a recipe for a blowout loss.

Roseman must be thrilled and shocked that Dallas rid themselves of a generational talent. The Eagles would never do that under his leadership. He always pays his best players early into their careers to reward them and save money. And when it comes time to reset the market, he will do it.
