A versatile swingman known for his stamina and hustle, Havlicek played both small forward and shooting guard.
Havlicek never got tired, leading the NBA in minutes played in the 1970-71 and 1971-72 seasons with astounding 45.4 minutes per game and 45.1 minutes per game averages in the respective seasons. He also finished fourth in MVP voting in 1971-72.
