RALEIGH, N.C. — A fight broke out between students from North Carolina State University and East Carolina University early Friday morning on the North Carolina State campus , university officials said.

NC State University Police responded just before 2 a.m. to a report of an altercation at Pillsbury Circle and Brooks Avenue, about three miles from Carter-Finley Stadium on Trinity Road, according to NC State officials , WNCN reported.

Investigators determined that four ECU students were involved in a fight with two NC State students . All six were charged with misdemeanor affray, and the ECU students were trespassed from NC State property, officials said.
