ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University held its annual white coat ceremony for over 70 first-year students, marking their official entry into the pharmacy profession.

The ceremony, which took place today, welcomed students from both the Rochester area and across the country who are participating in the school's online pathway program. This event signifies the beginning of a four-year educational journey for these aspiring pharmacists.

"Today is the celebratory time as we launch them into the profession, as they truly get their white coats and they enter into the profession in this way," said Christine Birnie, Dean of the Weagman's School of Pharmacy.
