The arts in Delaware are set to receive a major boost. The Delaware Division of the Arts announced it has awarded more than $5 million in grants to 125 arts and community organizations throughout the state. The money is to fund programs that state leaders say strengthen neighborhoods, creaete jobs and expand cultural opportunities for residents.
The $5,056,525 investment represents the first round of fiscal year 2026 funding and will support organizations through general operating support, new programs, arts stabilization, education resources and more.
Grant recipients range from small-town theaters to large institutions, with programs expected to boost local economies and preserve Delaware’s cultural identity. A full list of organizations receiving support is available at arts.delaware
