LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A 25-year-old Lansing man was sentenced for filing fraudulent grant applications, Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Friday afternoon

Leslie Buck was sentenced to two years of probation, 100 days in jail served and 200 days in jail suspended pending successful completion of probation.

Buck was charged with filing fraudulent grant applications with the Department of Treasury. He pled guilty in June to seven counts of Perjury and one count of Using Computer to Commit a Crime.

Nessel says Buck used a computer to submit fraudulent Growing MI Business Grant applications, and that the activity was reported by the Lansing Police Department.
