BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Deputies say two employees of a delivery service are accused of stealing packages that were supposed to be delivered to Beaufort County homes.

Beaufort County deputies say their investigation began after a laptop was stolen on August 16th.

Deputies learned that FedEx Ground contracted with MJD&SJ Enterprise to deliver packages in Beaufort County.

They say an employee on the delivery truck was marking packages as delivered, removing them from the system, and pocketing the stuff.

Detectives say they found more victims in the Washington area.

They then discovered several stolen items, along with the missing laptop, after a search at an apartment complex off Bellamy Drive in Greenville.

Samtavious Brunson, 29, was arrested at the apartment and charged with
