GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A Greenville man is behind bars, charged with indecent liberties with a child.

The sheriff’s office says the arrest of 68-year-old Lorenzo Battle came after a report from the Department of Social Services, where a female child known to Battle said that he touched her inappropriately.

As the investigation continued, authorities say the juvenile disclosed that it happened on multiple occasions.

Battle was arrested in Rocky Mount and is in the Nash County Detention Center under a $35,000 bond.
