Another round of layoffs is hitting Intel Corp., according to a recent regulatory filing.
The company said last month that it would cut 696 jobs at its campus in Chandler . It now intends to shed 97 additional employees, bringing the total number of laid off workers to nearly 800.
The news comes as the chipmaker cuts thousands of positions across the country amid an organization-wide overhaul prompted by flagging performance . So far, layoffs have hit company campuses in Arizona, California, Oregon and Texas.
