SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – This Friday, August 29, 2025, marks the annual College Colors Day, a celebration dedicated to honoring your college team's colors and apparel.

With many colleges and universities in the Shreveport-Bossier area, here are just a few of the school colors you just may see around town.

Centenary College of Louisiana • Colors: Maroon and White • Mascot: Gents and Ladies

Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) • Colors: Purple and Gold • Mascot: The Pilots / Rev the Rivermonster

Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) • Colors: Columbia Blue and Gold • Mascot: Jaguars

Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) • Colors: Maroon, White, and Gold • Mascot: Cavaliers
