PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Crews were able to quickly put out a fire that broke out in a Capitol Heights home on Friday afternoon.

The Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD) said it was called to a single-family home in the 500 block of 69th Street shortly after 4:20 p.m.

Responding firefighters said smoke was showing from a fire in the kitchen in the one-story home.

By 5:11 p.m., the fire had been put out, and no injuries were reported.

PGFD was still working to determine what caused the fire to ignite.
