WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Three Green Line stations in the DMV will be reopening soon after repairs, Metro announced on Friday.
On Monday, the Branch Avenue, Suitland and Naylor Road stations will all reopen "on time and on budget" after successful station repairs and track work.
Metro said that crews were working on a wide range of repairs and upgrades, including: • Radio and fiber optic cables • Renewed sections of rail and elevated track structures • Signal system upgrades • Switch replacements • Replacement platform edge lighting • Improved lighting in stations • Updated station signage • Replacement radio and fiber optic cables will keep communications reliable on the system.
