Ferocious aliens with advanced technology and superhuman abilities attack Earth, but somehow can't open the front door to finish off a group of hapless bridesmaids. Run vacillates between a tiresome soap opera and generic sci-fi thriller tropes for a confounding narrative that takes too long to deliver any meaningful thrills. It takes 40 minutes for the film's towering, green-blooded baddies to make their presence felt, prefaced by what can best be described as laborious exposition from a reality TV show. No one watching Run expects to sit through relationship melodrama, a disappointment that's compounded by a nonsensical climax and a finale that leaves audiences in a lurch.
